Santa Margherita Ligure, defined as one of the pearls of the Tigullio Gulf together with Portofino, San Fruttuoso and Rapallo, has always been a highly coveted destination for millions of admirers, both Italian and from all over the world. The purchase of a real estate property within the area certainly represents an excellent opportunity and the most requested property is usually composed of at least 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an external space with sea view.
The most sought-after locations remain Portofino and Santa Margherita Ligure, followed by Camogli, Zoagli, Rapallo and Recco.
The proportion between supply and demand is very variable, as are the prices (in the most famous areas such as Portofino, Santa Margherita and Camogli, the price range is wide: it goes from a minimum of 4,000€/sqm for a detached house, to a maximum of 19,000€/sqm for a villa in the Portofino area). In the case of Santa Margherita Ligure, demand is clearly higher than supply.
